Criccieth Castle (in Welsh: Castell Cricieth) is a National castle located on the headland between two beaches of Criccieth, North Wales. Situated on a rocky peninsula overlooking the Tremadog Bay. Built by Llywelyn the Great of the kingdom of Gwynedd, heavily. Renovated after the capture by the English forces of Edward I in the late 13th century.
