Gandria, on the shores of Ceresio, borders  Italy, not far from Lugano. With some characteristic houses of several colors arranged on several levels, make the village much appreciated from its visitors. Within walking distance from Castagnola parking , the Gandria trail crosses the Parco degli Ulivi, and runs along Lake Lugano. Approximately 1 hour walk.
