Swissminiatur,
located in Melide, on the shores of Lake Ceresio, in the Canton of Ticino. The park was founded by Pierre Vuigner and was inaugurated on June 6, 1959 and in 2019 it celebrated its first 60 years.
Swissminiatur with over 128 models of the most famous buildings and monuments in Switzerland, in 1:25 scale. For model railway enthusiasts, there is a 3,560m network of miniature railways that wind their way through the park.
