The Pietrarubbia Castle dating back to the 1100s, with its feet Pietrarubbia one of the oldest villages in Italy. This region was the scene of bloody battles, first between the Guelph and Ghibelline factions within the historic territory of Montefeltro, then the Montefeltro and Malatesta families fought over the Castle for a long time.
Pietrarubbia is an Italian village, in the province of Pesaro and Urbino in the Marche region.
