Swiss Castle
Tarasp Castle is a castle in Switzerland, near the former municipality of Tarasp, in Lower Engadin, Graubünden. It is a Swiss heritage site of national significance.
The first mention of the castle dates from the XI century, although the building probably dates from the x century. It is the work of a family from the Val Venosta who will later take the name of the castle in the following century, even as their lordship reached its maximum extension with land in southern Tyrol, in Valtellina and even in Bavaria .
