Night video filming is the ultimate way to put this 1-inch CMOS Mavic 2 Pro into a real test. In this test manual settings were used: ISO800, aperture 2.8, 1/50s, Dlog-M, H.265, 4K at 25fps. Some of the shots I used the full FOV to capture the wide views. For the rest I used the more narrow HQ mode to increase the impact of the picture with the close up effect. Final Cut Pro editing a LUT was used with a little bit of blue color touch to make the tone cooler. H.265 requires more computing power to decode. I used proxy to make the editing a bit smoother. Overall speaking, Mavic 2 Pro has a significant improvement to the Mavic Pro in terms of night filming. The details are so fine and the noise is a lot less.
