Kraljevo is a Serbian town in Serbia, Zapadno Pomoravlje region, district of Raška. Formerly called Rudo Polje, Karanovac and Rankovićevo, its current name, which means “the city of the king“, comes from King Milan I and was awarded in 1882. The coat of arms of the city is decorated with seven crowns symbolizing the seven coronations of Serbian kings who took place at the monastery of Žiča.
